Officials Patches/Pins |

All newly-certified Virginia Swimming Officials
receive a Virginia Swimming patch/pin from their
Area Officials Chair. If you loose/damage
yours, just ask your District Officials Chair for a
replacement. |

Officials Name Tags |
All newly-certified Virginia Swimming Officials
receive Virginia Swimming Officials Name Tags after
they have completed their first year of work (end of
their probation period). The District Officials
Chairs periodically order the name tags for
Officials in their Districts (through
Cathy Rudolph, (757) 496-3622, to the
vendor). It is a great help if the Club
Officials Chairs can periodically let their District
Officials Chair know when they have Officials coming
up on the one year mark.
New name tags for all Virginia Swimming officials
are being procured and should be distributed before
the end of this year. |

Referee Whistles |
|
Acme Thunder whistles are generally the best
whistle for Referees. You can usually find
them (and lanyards and rubber covers) at most
sporting goods stores. |

Starter Bells |
|
The 5 1/2" brass teacher's bells are generally the best
bells for Starters to use when signaling one lap to
go for distance events. Here are 3 online

Host Clubs are responsible for supplying DQ Slips
for their meets. Virginia Swimming also
